Discipleship

I study and follow, so that I may know and demonstrate the power within.

isciple comes from the Latin word for pupil or student. In studying the Bible metaphysically, we seek ways to be the student of those who have come before and achieved Christ consciousness. We need not worship, but study and learn and grow. Part of learning and growing is demonstrating the power of the Lord of our beings in life.

While some have performed obvious outer miracles over the centuries, we need not bring the dead to life, change water to wine, or float in the air to demonstrate our growing knowledge. It may be as simple as receiving needed funds from an unexpected source or healing a long-standing rift in a relationship. Let us go forth and demonstrate through miracles.

St. John 8:31, “Then Jesus said to the Jews who believed in him, If you abide by my word, you are truly my disciples.”
