Happiness

I choose happiness today; I govern my thoughts with clarity.

n the metaphysical version of the Garden of Eden story, information coming through the senses (the serpent) entices the emotions (Eve) into making a judgment (eating the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil) and the thoughts (Adam) run with the judgment without question. So, man is no longer in a pleasant, harmonious, productive state of consciousness (Eden).

The Bible is about choices. We can choose to think we know all the facts and make judgments that get us into emotional storms with thoughts whirling, or we can choose to reserve judgment and ride along on an even keel, pleasant and happy, easy to be around. Only God knows all. Let us choose to be happy.

Isaiah 12:3, “Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the spring of salvation.”
