Persist and Achieve

Through God, I have the energy and direction to pursue my goals.

ao-Tzu said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Many times, we may find our goals are very distant, but if we just remember that we are not alone and continue by taking the next step, we will get there. We can know the goal is there, but by focusing on the next step we allow ourselves something more immediately attainable.

We may find that we do not know what the next step is. This is not the time to give up, but to ask God for guidance, to sit and listen in the Silence until direction comes. When the answer appears, it is time again to focus on the next step of our journey.

Galatians 6:9, “Let us not be weary in welldoing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
