Cultivating Patience

I am one with the One. God is within me. God is in all things around me. I am patient, since I am always dealing with God.

vents do not always go our way, or so we may think in the moment. Someone may do something unexpected that delays or derails our plans. We may lose a job or a loved one. Perhaps we have a disagreement that upsets our equilibrium. Such events can try our patience. But only if we look at them through only physical eyes and natural minds.

If, instead, we look at events through spiritual eyes, we know the Truth. We are dealing with God, who wants the best for us. Our highest and best is spiritual growth. It is our life mission to find God in each event, to find the growth. When we seek growth, we have no room for impatience.

Proverbs 16:32, “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he who conquers himself than he who takes a city.”
