Turn Around

I see out of the eyes of wonder I knew in my youth, and everything under the sun is a miracle and work of God, including me.

n the Book of Ecclesiastes, The Preacher is a jaded, old curmudgeon of a man. He keeps turning around to see vanity and vexations of the spirit. He turns around, and he sees out of an old man’s eyes. God bless him.

We have a choice. We can see out of the eyes of a jaded, old man or woman, or we can see out of the eyes of a child, seeing the wonder in life, the miracles happening around us every day.

Jesus told us, “Unless you change and become like little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” So, if your eyes are old, turn around and remember the eyes of wonder you once possessed.

Ecclesiastes 12:1, “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw nigh when you shall say, I have no pleasure in them;”
