Remain in Prayer Mode

Every thought through my mind is a prayer; I shepherd my thoughts carefully.

here are prayers of thanksgiving, prayers of supplication or asking, and prayers of information, telling God things God already knows. We might also listen for God’s answers or just God-thoughts, either at a set time of the day or throughout the day. Then there are prayers of worry, often unintentional prayers.

Paul enjoins us to pray without ceasing. We can do nothing else. It is more important to pay attention to what we are praying for. Each thought that passes through our mind is a form of prayer. We can give each more or less energy, but all of them are seeds planted in the fertile ground of God.

Let us think with care, that our unceasing prayers be Truth.

I Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.”
